  1. The main task is to take leadership in the Container Board team on achieving full customer perceived availability at lowest landed cost;

  2. Assure that agreed business setups are updated in the systems; Follow-up, analyse and take actions to continuously improve supplier delivery performance and assure goods are shipped in time from suppliers;

  3. Define the signal level for capacity exceptions and working towards exceptions;

  4. Identify, implement and maintain the best logistical offer at the sales place from suppliers by working actively with replenishment solutions, lead times to make sure goods reaching the receiver with lowest possible cost;

  5. Secure correct supply information to and from supplier and IKEA in such quality that it can be used directly towards the customers;

  6. Work closely with IKEA suppliers to provide them with relevant training and working methods, in order to support their development to the required performance levels;

  7. Lead, encourage and support supplier with SDP way of working that Supplier takes ownership for its own logistic development;

(Tools: SDP, Logistic Assessment, Projects connected raise the base & inventory management etc..)

  1. Proactively work with alarm /early warning systems to detect and prevent deviations from goals.


Has the experience to work with supply chain

To have the knowledge about manufacture internal logistic management including competence/performance/cost evaluation.

Ability to find risk and opportunity get logistic improvement in all dimension.

Knowledge of supplier development tool with Partnership talk, Action plan, SDP, supplier classification.

Be familiar with different transportation method, and cost management.

Has the knowledge to work with supplier’s capacity evaluation with complicated production process.

English both oral and writing.
