The Mobile Networks Product Portfolio Head of Sales is directly responsible for Mobile Networks Business Group (BG) business results within China Mobile. He/She works closely with Customer Business Team (CBT) and other Nokia organisations to achieve Mobile Networks BG strategic and short term business targets .
The successful candidate has the ability to influence the high level management of both customer and Nokia in determining and agreeing winning strategy and right product portfolio offering to maximise Mobile Networks business and achieve agreed short and long term KPI s for China Mobile business.
This is a senior level position leading the Mobile Networks PPS strategy execution and driving sales and business results within China Mobile. The Head of Sales works closely with sales teams at the Headquarter level, as well as in the provinces to ensure customer interest, future revenue and customer satisfaction, in line with the Mobile Network s and Nokia s overall strategy and goals.
Main responsibilities *
Identify, evaluate, develop and manage Mobile Networks product related business opportunities within China Mobile.
Contribute to CBT business forecast, strategy creation and communication and ensure alignment with Mobile Networks Business Group (MN BG) global strategy and business targets
End-to-end tracking of approved business case. Responsible for financial performance of all MN product lines within China Mobile
Responsible for driving MN BG related aspects of the Letter of Authority (LoA) process and securing deal margins
Supporting the sales organization to meet market share targets.
Decision maker for MN level sales, discount allocations, and case prioritization
Responsible to Improve (main KPI s): deal quality, deal qualification, hit rates, rejection rates, market share and profitability.
Drive competitive pricing, commercial strategy, smart tendering etc.
Skilled in negotiating, coaching and governance to make decision with quality
In cooperation with Head of MNP Solution Engagement (Head of SE), drive the most promising ideas that will strengthen our technology competitiveness into our product roadmap
Engage with leading customer organizations at Headquarter and Province level and win leading provinces.
Works closely with other teams of MN Product Portfolio Sales, Commercial Management, GS , CO and Customers
Desired Skills and Experience *
Minimum of 10 years experience in telecommunications, preferably in China.
Excellent leadership, problem solving and decision making skills
Demonstrated ability to drive sales and profitability targets and influence internal counterparts
Able to interface with customers and help Customer Teams to identify new Sales opportunities as well as close key deals
Strong ability to interface with and synthesize messages for executive level management, both internally and with customers
Innovation and out of the box thinking mindset
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written
Works well under pressure
Able to drive activities in a global environment, leveraging the strengths of staff and peers
Active listener, good negotiation skills, ability manage others and own emotions, adaptable, rigorous, proactive
Understanding China Mobile customer is a strong advantage
Excellent command in English. Command in Chinese language is a strong benefit.
Up to 50%
Masters degree or engineering degree in Telecommunications/Information Technology/Computer Science or MBA.
