  • Responsibility:• Participate to the architecture design and implementation of components, applications and services. With primary focus on Hadoop Delot project to provide automated management system of large-scale Hadoop clusters within eBay data infrastructure. • Drive and contribute to the core development• Debug and provide hot fixes on production issues.• Work closely with hadoop service team to provide full support• Define and execute test cases to ensure top quality of product releases.• Provide timely and effective production supportJob Requirement:• Strong passion on solution design and development in Java.• Familiar with large-scale big data analytics cutting-edge technologies.• Experience in enterprise level software development life cycle.• Strong engineering skills: modular design, data structures, algorithms, building tools, testing, and operational aspects.• Strong communication skills, pragmatic approach to the choice of tools and platformsBasic Qualification:• BS/MS degree in CS or comparable technical field• Deep knowledge on OO design methodology and enterprise application development in Java.• Experience with Hadoop, Kafka, Storm, Yarn and other big data open source solutions• Experience with Unix-like systems, such as Linux and/or SunOS• Detail oriented with superior analytical, problem solving, and organization skills.• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to clearly present complex technical topics to technical and non-technical audiences.• Must be a proven top performer and team leader that enjoys challenging assignments in a highly energize and fast growing workplace.
