Philips Project Manager in Shanghai, China
Formulates as the service Project Manager the project plan, in accordance with the goals and timing, set by management;
specifies the manning of the project, resources required, anticipated costs, risk assessment and quality standards to be used.
Controls the project budget and project progress, evaluates all project initiatives as to feasibility, costs/benefits and added value, takes corrective actions when necessary and generates adequate reporting.
Leads the project, within the project budget and program strategy, in terms of quality, money, time, information and organization, monitoring progress and managing external resources.
Directs employees and gives them operational guidance, regarding content and organization.
Reports on employees’ performance to the hierarchical superior of the employees for the purpose of appraisal and makes proposals for training.
Manages as a Project Leader more complex service improvement sub projects. Manages own project team usually as a part of a larger project.
The accent is on complex improvements and realization in parts of a main service processes. Duration < 1 year. Manages clearly defined local improvement projects.
In this role, you have the opportunity to

Developing project plans; inclusive of the following elements, utilizing Project Management Methodology:
Comprehensive WBS (work breakdown structure),
Change Management Plan,
Risk Management Plan,
Stakeholder Analysis and
Resource Management Plan
Coordinating, leading and motivating a diverse cross-functional team of inter nal and external Clinical and Technical resources in coordination with the hospital provided project manager or point(s) of contact.
Ensures that the actual cost is under planned cost
Responsible for effectively communicating with all project stakeholders, and third party vendors. Including but not limited to regular project updates and regular project meetings as outlined in the project plan.
Required to work with a Solution Consultant in the pre-sales phase to determine the best solution for a particular customer to assure the feasibility of the technical solution and how it will meet customer pectations.
The Customer Project Manager will be responsible for Forward Looking Inventory Management, Project Cycle Time, Forecast Accuracy, Revenue Recognition, Project Costs and Customer Satisfaction
Workout project handover report. Participating in and contributing to relevant Communities of Practice is expected.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
Certification in Project Management preferred (CAPM, PMP)
Excellent organization skills
Lean Certification is helpful
Strong leadership skills
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Excellent communication both verbally and in writing, in Chinese as well as English
Technical or Clinical experience/education in Computer Science disciplines or Information Technologies is preferred
At least 3 years demonstrated Project Management experience in a comparable
Knowledge and experience in Project Management and IT Integration within a Healthcare Environment preferred (i.e. Healthcare IT, Patient Monitoring).
Ability to demonstrate effective influential leadership across all project resources/stakeholders
Ability to effectively negotiate
Ability to deliver highly satisfied customer experiences
Ability to effectively manage and lead multiple projects concurrently
