Job Description: That’s a cool job! I want it!
Splunk is looking for experienced and passionate software engineers to build Splunk’s next generation platform and solution to enable and support continuous integration and continuous delivery of Splunk big data products and cloud services in a high scalable manner.
Responsibilities: I want to and can do that!
Design and optimize Splunk CI CD platform and tooling architecture by leveraging Splunk and a variety of open source technologies.
Build and maintain high performance and scalable CI CD platform and tooling across building, deployment, testing and reporting.
Lead and drive innovations.
Define and publish best practices, technical guidance.
Analyze and resolve complex technical issues.
Mentor junior level engineers.
Requirements: I’ve already done that or have that!
10+ years of relevant industry experience.
Expert at Python, Java or C C++.
Solid knowledge and experience with microservices and container technologies, such as docker, UCP, Kubernetes.
Solid knowledge and experience with Big Data technologies, such as ELK, Hadoop, Kafka, Spark, NoSQL, etc.
Track record of delivering innovative solutions to tough problems.
A demonstrated capability for open minded, fast learning, creative thinking, intellectual and team working.
Good problem solving, collaboration and communication skills
Good at English, both verbal and written.
Nice to have (any of them):
Experience expertise in systems applications technologies of continuous delivery.
Experience expertise of building and maintaining Cloud Services.
Experience on application development based on SaaS API like AWS, Google Platform, Azure etc.
Experience expertise of IT security (IAM, Firewall, IDS IPS, DLP, Antivirus Antimalware, SIEM)
Education: Got it!
BS, MS or PhD in Computer Science or related engineering discipline.
