Job Posting Title Layout Engineer
Job Description Responsibilities include the development and preparation of multi-dimensional layouts and detailed drawings of the semiconductor devices from schematics and related geometry provided by design engineering. Work may be completed through use of CAD equipment. Checks dimensions, writes specifications, and verifies completed drawings, art work or digitized plots. May check design layouts and detailed drawings.
The position requires knowledge of the entire IC backend development. As a member of a layout team you will be responsible for the following:
Designing complex layout for mixed signal, and analog circuits.
Layout critical analog blocks like bandgap, references, comparators, amplifiers, charge pumps, oscillators for optimum performance
Utilize advanced CAD tools for mask design.
Deliver clean layout using the complete set of layout verification tools available.
Reviewing and analyze circuits and floor plans with circuit designer.
Project data management using version control.
Package DRC rule checks
PG submission and review
• Associate Degree in Computer Science or Engineering and 5 + years of layout experience.
• Successful collaboration with remote design team.
• Working knowledge of Cadence Virtuoso, XL, and Assura verification and debugging.
• Basic knowledge of electronic, analog and digital circuitry.
• Experience with layout of power IC like DC/DC converters and Switchers is plus
• Knowledge of device construction and fab processing
