Position Objective

  • Overall responsibility of this position includes:

  • Develop FxRD Shanghai as a strategic development center for Global FxRD Technology

  • Expand the team to deliver additional end-to-end business solutions

  • Formulate relationship management and implementation strategies

  • Bring end-to-end ownership of applications to the Shanghai site

  • Staff Retention and Career Development

  • Collaborate with and leverage other Markets Technology teams in Shanghai

Position Responsibilities

  • Business Development/Client Relationship Management

  • Formulate relationship management goals and objectives consistent with long-term strategic objectives of the company.

  • Facilitate new business development, building and expanding.

  • Act as client liaison for crisis management issues.

  • Coordinate business plans, forecasts and budgets.

  • Track and resolve any budget, billing and payment issues.

Project Delivery/Relationship Management

  • Build strong relationship with onsite senior managers as well as line managers

  • Deliver projects with high quality in a timely manner

  • Understand the overall global strategy and adjust accordingly to maximize the value to global team.

  • Leverage resources to ensure the critical project delivery

Resource Planning and Management

  • Departmental daily administration.

  • Regular FTE Demand, Planning, Forecast and Requirement Confirmation.

  • Recruit people in timely manner.

  • Retention of skilled personnel.

  • Develop staff by providing coaching and growth opportunities.

  • Own decisions of assigning staff to projects across all areas within FxRD Technology

  • Assign the right people to right project based on their skills and interest

  • Monitor overall health of the organization and adjust accordingly.

  • Coordinate with Human Resources on training programs in English, People Management, Project Management and

  • Technical/Product Skills

  • Achievement of Satisfaction Rates in VOE survey.

Risk & Control

  • Establish and operate within corporate policies that comply with regulations and good business practices.

  • Comply with Citigroup audit standards for project management, office administration, and Continuity of Business.

  • Achieve satisfactory rating for internal and external audits.

  • Manage Audit reviews; oversee corrective action plans

  • Manage any issues and risks that exist beyond the project lifecycle for possible process improvement opportunities.


Req Qualifications:

  • Technical background to lead a large team of developers in our largest location

  • Knowledge of budgeting, expense management, and corporate finances

  • Rich experience in People Management.

  • Advanced project management skills

  • Knowledge in how to influence people to work enthusiastically toward goals identified as being for the common good. Skilled at managing conflict.

  • Ability to build an effective work climate across teams.

  • Knowledge in managing customer expectations and building strategic partnership with customers

  • Excellent skills in influencing others and getting agreements

  • Experience working in a matrix environment

  • Experience working with internal and external auditors, as well as Risk & Control functions
