Position Purpose & Summary
The purpose of this position is to supervise the implementation of research projects in China TAC and report the findings internally and externally.
60% Lead the implementation of research projects i.e. from proposal, methodology, hypothesis, collection of data, statistical analysis, report finding and conclusion.
10% Connect with the global GIC-TAC team on research planning and progress updates.
10% Responsible for operational and special duties as assigned by the company.
5% Manage application research projects as planned by the TAC Technical and Portfolio Review Committee.
5% Track application and value creation of research projects.
5% Present of Cargill selected and approved research findings in internal trainings, customer seminars and industry conferences.
5% Update TAC research SOPs, align with global research best practices.
Education, Experience, Skills
Minimum Required Qualifications
PhD in Animal Science or Animal Nutrition
Possess research related working experience.
High technical proficiency in written and spoken English. Compelling communication especially on technical topics.
Preferably with 5 years of post-PhD swine research working experience. Previous research experience in sows and baby pigs is an added advantage.
Able to run statistical software and model.
