Qualifications:

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with home/host Mobility Consultants to provide overall assignment management support for inbound and outbound assignments

  • Work closely with internal departments (talent teams, finance teams, tax teams and immigration teams) to ensure assignment is compliant

  • Work with external vendors to assist assignees in coordinating all aspects of relocation matters in relation to their assignments

  • Maintain frequent communication with assignees to ensure their assignment is progressing as planned

  • Provide day to day advice to the talent team, service line stakeholders, as well as assignees on mobility related queries, including but not limited to mobility policy, international assignments, and application of relevant immigration and taxation legislation

  • Assist with the preparation of relocation packages, including preparation of cost estimates and assignment contract

  • Ensure appropriate approvals of mobility assignments; resolve mobility related issues and escalate where needed

  • Identify and discuss policy and process improvements

  • Coordinate assignee payroll instructions

  • Assist with preparation of payment requisition forms and liaise with internal departments

  • Manage inter-office billing checking and reconciliation for assignee expenses

  • Provide and update monthly mobility and management report

  • Assist in the review of data and information maintained in knowledge tools

  • Assist in the compensation accumulation and data collection process, as required by foreign offices

  • Provide administrative and coordinative support to the team; involvement in various ad hoc projects as required

Qualifications, Education and Certification

  • 1-3 years relevant experience in a large corporate organisation

  • Tertiary qualification in related discipline, with knowledge in international mobility

  • Strong relationship management, communication and influencing skills will be highly valued

  • Demonstrate an ability to apply the relevant (assignment policies, expatriate cost, etc.) principles to business needs

  • Interpret and apply technical knowledge to existing stakeholder’s situation

  • Ability to communicate effectively with service line leaders, talent teams, tax teams and immigration teams, as well as external vendors

  • Ability to use a global mobility technology tool as well as other relevant HR systems and knowledge tools

  • Show an awareness of tax and immigration legislation, as well as relevant employment law and other business or economic forces

  • Customer service oriented with good team spirit, good intellectual rigour, commercial awareness and strong attention to details

  • Good communication and influencing skills

  • Good computer skills in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Proficient in English and Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese)
