AMETEK, Inc. Technical Service Representative in Guangzhou, China
Performs basic on-site installation and general maintenance tasks on technology products. Resolves customer problems and answers questions. Keeps record of system problems and issues to support client needs, broaden product lines, and support product development. The job function is responsible for providing technological support of electronic and mechanical equipment and parts within the Atlas product lines including other products defined by management. Position also performs software installation within areas of product line. The scope of the job function includes reporting and record keeping that supports maintenance requirements. The efforts related to reporting serve to expand product line while proactively broaden sales options within scope of assigned clients.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering (mechanical, electrical or similar)
Five+ years experience in technical service of electronic and mechanical equipment or instrumentation
Experience reading and deciphering schematics.
Demonstrated mathematical aptitude involving practical algebraic and statistical methodologies applicable to problem solving needs for clients.
Proficient with MS office windows and capable of navigating through systems and applications.
Refrigeration experience and technical certification a plus.
