This position is a Supplier Program Manager ( SPM ), responsible to manage our supplier XXX at Nanning for Product Cost mgmt, Contracts, New product introduction and supplier performance.
Person must have supply/supplier management experience ( 5 yrs ), business background and college degree in engineering or business, MBA will be preferred.
Solid program management, presentation, and influencing skills.
Excellent communication/interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with people at all levels internally/externally.
Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and projects.
Proficient in the development and use of spreadsheets, with expertise in the use of Microsoft Excel preferred

Here are the specifics:
Responsible for negotiating and setting costs and pricing for assigned products. Accountable for developing and implementing cost reductions on controllable spend that result in ongoing product cost reductions.
Responsible for managing supplier performance, score carding, supplier audits and the implementation of corrective actions .
Is the supplier relationship manager for assigned products and is the single point of escalation on resolving supplier issues .
Responsible for implementation of supply chain initiatives & improvements e.g. 100% ATO, direct ship capabilities, supplier readiness for new initiatives & processes.
Responsible for negotiating contracts and product award letters that set the terms under which Oracle will conduct business with our external manufacturing partners.
Responsible for the ongoing maintenance of and supplier compliance to the contract including periodic audits of the supplier
Drive operational readiness in support of Oracle's business requirements.
Claims Management: Owns, validates and processes price variance claims for the products or commodities assigned. This person will also be required track memory inventory ( in feed/consumption) and agree /implement the new price as the inventory at the old price is consumed ( New price cut in process ).
Pricing: Works with supplier's pricing team to valid all prices before these are sent to product owners for approvals. Work with supplier to improve pricing process. Will perform pricing audits as needed.
Cost Reductions: Will work on supply chain optimization. Will identify potential cost reduction opportunities and will work with OPs team to implement these on timely manner.
Responsible for tracking the cost savings for Oracle and supplier initiated opportunities. Labor time verification support (audit labor times part of the total OSP model), will perform audits if the cost model is being applied per contract.
Other costs: ECO coordination as needed, validates dekit, RQT and rework costs.

Manage the development and implementation process of a specific company product involving departmental or cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of new or existing products. Plan and direct schedules and monitor budget/spending. Monitor the project from initiation through delivery. Organize the interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget constraints. Assign and monitor work of systems analysis and program staff, providing technical support and direction.
Duties and tasks are varied and complex, needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 5 years of project management, product design or related experience preferred.
