Oracle is actively seeking senior quality assurance Engineer to join the Oracle PeopleSoft Development team.
Oracle PeopleSoft development has PeopleSoft Enterprise business applications and Public Sector Cloud products. The PeopleSoft Enterprise / PeopleSoft Financial and Supply Chain Management (FSCM) Quality Assurance team supports the world-class enterprise software development providing quality solutions for all aspects of Financial Accounting, Manufacturing, Customer Fulfillment Management, Supplier Relationship Management and Supply Planning. Senior Quality Assurance Engineer for PeopleSoft / Public Sector Cloud Development team.
Position is at CHINA Beijing location only
Prior exposure or experience with PeopleSoft / Cloud product background, strong automation skill and CI tools knowledge is preferred.
Responsible for both function testing and automation testing.
Participating in review of functional and technical specification documents to understand the approach of implementation of various measurable criteria.
Responsible for automation related new script development, execution, failure analysis by utilizing Oracle / PeopleSoft automation tools.
Coordinating with global automation administrators or relevant groups to establish automation related standards, procedures, guidelines for whole QA organization.
Build up and maintain automation library at product level.
Resolve automation related issues for local QA teams.
Back up each other with global automation administrators.
Responsible for developing, applying and maintaining quality standards for PeopleSoft / Public Sector Cloud products with adherence to both internal and external standards.
Handling the testing efforts of regulatory and statutory changes
Develops and executes software test plans. Analyzes and writes test standards and procedures. Maintains documentation of test results. Analyzes test results and recommends corrective actions.
Preparing estimate of manpower required and timeline.
Preparation of mitigation plan for risks involved.
Defect identification and analysis.
Coordinating with relevant groups for automated regression testing.
Candidate should have good functional knowledge in Finance and Supply Chain Management Domain.
Over 5 years automation test experience, familiar with at least one script language such as Java/Python/Perl/Ruby etc., good at automation test framework and design skill.
Should have hands on experience of at least 3 years in any of the ERPs like Peoplesoft Financials, EBiz (Finance), SAP(FICO), Tally (Accounting & Inventory), Ramco (Marshall - Finance), etc.
Having good experience in writing and executing test cases, reporting and verifying bugs. Desirable to have automation experience in scripting and executing the test scenarios preferably using PTF or any other automation scripting tool.
Having experience in agile / scrum development process.
Candidate should demonstrate ability and commitment to complete high quality work in a timely manner within tight schedules.

As a member of the technical/process QA division, you will develop quality standards, control methods and theories to be utilized during manufacturing, testing and inspection to access product quality. Develop standards and procedures to provide quality guidance methods.
Duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 4 years of software engineering or related experience.
