The Red Hat Training team is looking for a motivated and experienced Sales Account Manager to join us in Beijing, China. In this role, you will help us sell our training and certification offerings across the north of China. You’ll directly sell to customers, serve as an overlay for field sales in our named accounts, and work with the training distribution network to grow Red Hat’s business. As a Sales Account Manager, you’ll need to have creative and strategic planning skills to define systems and processes that will successfully carry our training services to market. You'll have the opportunity to establish relationships with customers across the region and increase Red Hat’s revenue.
Primary job responsibilities
Sell training offerings and services to enterprise and corporate customers in China
Create and sustain strategic customer relationships, especially in the enterprise, federal, and public sectors
Identify and generate new training opportunities from existing leads and customer base
Develop and define the training selling best practices
Meet assigned sales quotas, grow and renew existing customer relationships, and acquire new business
Manage forecasts, close deals, record sales activity, and track customer data using company standard customer relationship management (CRM) tools like Salesforce.com (SFDC)
Send proposals and quotes of specific solutions to gain new customers and upsell existing accounts
Create and roll out marketing initiatives in China to promote existing or new learning offerings
Build, maintain, and foster the relationship with existing and new channel partners
Demonstrated success in a similar technology or software sales support position (outside, inside, or telesales) with a proven record of achieving your goals
Understanding of the complete sales cycle management from prospecting to closing
Positive outlook and clear focus on delivering high-quality service to our customers
Ability to build long-term relationships with customers through trust and credibility
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Excellent communication skills, especially on the phone and in person
Good communication skills in English
Demonstrated success and a good understanding of compliance issues with federal agencies and the public sector is a plus
