Dell IoT/ Embedded/OEM APJ Marketing Manager (Position can be based in Beijing/shenzhen/xiamen/shanghai or Taiwan) in Beijing, China

Role Responsibilities:

1. Represent APJ in the IoT/ Embedded marketing strategy and marketing plan

a. Analyze past activities and marketplace

b. Develop understanding of key verticals, customers, use cases and overall opportunity for key countries in APJ; help shape the ecosystem map and solution demo library

c. Help shape plan with input from APJ IoT/ Embedded sales teams

d. Help shape plan with input from Dell EMC country marketing teams

2. Owner of APJ IoT/ Embedded marketing budget

a. Work with IoT/ Embedded budget manager

b. Work with Intel and others on co-marketing funds for opportunities, file post event reports with proof of delivery

3. Execute on APJ IoT/ Embedded marketing plan including:;

a. Events - working with OEM/IoT APJ Events manager who will handle logistics; may provide some onsite support for events as needed

b. Lead Generation – including webinars, IoT/ Embedded starter kits, internal awareness and other marketing lead gen activities (working with rest of OEM/IoT APJ and global marketing team)

c. Account plays

d. Customer references & case studies

e. Assist with IoT/ Embedded APJ wins and PR/AR where required

f. Social and digital support for IoT/ Embedded APJ (working with global social/digital team)

4. Full analysis and reporting on APJ IoT/ Embedded leads and marketing activities

a. Working with APJ IoT/ Embedded Sales and rest of APJ OEM/IoT marketing team

b. Will loop back into planning

All training will be provided to assist with above e.g. Account Play process, SFDC leads process, Mascot budget tool, ART Intel MDF tool etc.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Good track record and experience in APJ/ Regional marketing management. Field Marketing experience a plus.

  • Excellent English communication skills; Chinese written and spoken skills is a plus.

  • Strong cross-functional leadership and collaboration skills.

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree required. MBA preferred.

  • Experience: 8 – 10 years of professional experience in Marketing or relevant experience.
