The Growth Business Services Executive in Microsoft develops strong customer relationships and delivers a well-managed and growing business of customer accounts in the set territory that drives yearly Services revenue targets and long-term revenue opportunities. The success of this business is measured by externally billed Services revenue from contract renewals, net new opportunities, and predictable yearly business forecasts.
The Growth Business Services Executive role adds value to customers by demonstrating how Microsoft technology and Services can help solve business issues and positively impact the customer’s business. Success is measured by demonstrable customer results through delivered consulting and support engagements, and overall customer satisfaction.
The Growth Business Services Executive carries the overall Services responsibility in Microsoft for the assigned account/s in a territory being managed and developed; has a good knowledge of customers, their markets, business challenges and also the opportunities; focus on articulating the value of Microsoft as an Enterprise solution provider and demonstrating Enterprise Services’ commitment to helping customers solve their challenges and grow their businesses through accelerated adoption and productive use and is able to leverage team members and skills to present the “One Microsoft” positioning to the customer and effectively deliver on the People-Ready Business value proposition.
The Growth Business Services Executive candidate must have experience in:
Sales: Professional Services Sales, Sales methodologies and techniques, Sales planning, Territory/Account planning, Opportunity Management, Customer Relationship management. Knowledge of Enterprise Services Sales frameworks is preferred
Information Technology: Knowledgeable or experienced in the typical IT life-cycle areas such as Strategy, Architecture, Planning, Project Management, Capability Development, Capability Implementation, Release Management, Operations and Support. Depth of experience in a variety of applicable technologies is recommended and strong services business knowledge is needed.
Business - Knowledgeable and good Business Development and Business Management skills, Relationship Development, Customer Service Management, Financial Planning and Analysis, Business Planning, Forecasting, Tracking, Measurement and Reporting. This individual must be able to understand and articulate Microsoft’s strategy and vision to a variety of audiences.
The candidate will have a minimum of 5 years or more working experience in sales/services sales OR services business development/delivery combined with a BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience.
