The Market Development Manager represents JDx China in an account selling capacity across North/South territory. More specifically, this position will have a primary focus on driving CellSearch reagent growth within our existing accounts. Other objectives will be to partner with the District Sales Manager (NAM) and Marketing team in order execute new strategic placements in major hospitals and academic centers, to sell Research Use Only (RUO) reagents and CTC clinical research lab services in the academic research setting, to cultivate Key Opinion Leader (KOL) development, to work with the Market Access and Reimbursement team to influence local and regional payer stakeholders.
A strong understanding of the Oncology business market is required. Advanced clinical knowledge of Circulating Tumor Cells is preferred. The position requires the ability to build strong business relationships across various levels (i.e. physicians/medical directors/lab directors/medical administration) and to develop and execute strategic plans that result in business growth that exceeds the JDx China business plan.
BS/BA or equivalent is required. At least three years of sales experience is required, with oncology experience, capital equipment and laboratory diagnostics strongly preferred. Candidates must have experience and documented success selling within complex clinical environments.
